Extending the Scare Dancer®

Our high power blowers are designed so that the inflatable Scare Dancer® can be extended at least an additional 10 feet without losing air pressure.

This technique is very effective for defending against birds that like to light in the tops of taller trees or for getting high above the corn stalk to enhance the visibility for deer and other animal pests.

To extend the inflatable, attach the inflatable Scare Dancer® over a standard 4" sewer and drain pipe and insert the pipe over the blower's nozzle. The pipe will need to be stabilized with a t-post to keep the added weight from causing the blower to fall over. Simply follow the steps below.

Step 1

step 1

Secure a t-post into the ground next to the blower's nozzle.

Step 2

step 2

Place electrical tape around the exposed end of your pipe to keep it from cutting into the fabric of the inflatable.

Step 3

step 3

Carefully stretch the inflatable over one end of the pipe so that is covering about 6-8 in. of the pipe.

Step 4

step 4

Tie a bungee cord around the bottom of the inflatable to secure it to the pipe.

Step 5

step 5

Place the other end of the pipe over the blower's nozzle.

Step 6

step 6

Secure the pipe to the t-post at the top with a bungee cord or rope.

Step 7

step 7

Secure the pipe to the t-post at the bottom with a bungee cord or rope and make sure that the pipe is level.

Step 8

step 8

Your Inflatable Scarecrow should now look like this.

Step 9

step 9

Turn the blower on.
